Sourcing claims

Grass-fed and grass-finished language should be connected to retained supplier, farm, audit or sourcing evidence for the accepted material. We do not treat a sourcing adjective as proof of every quality characteristic.

Cosmetic grade

“Cosmetic grade” is used as a manufacturing and specification concept for intended cosmetic use. It is not presented as a universal government grade or third-party approval unless a specific certification applies.

Testing and batch evidence

Specifications, lot identity, batch records, certificates and testing are matched to the material or product and project scope. A certificate of analysis supports defined results for a lot; it does not prove every possible cosmetic claim.

Regulated claims

SPF, broad-spectrum, water-resistance, therapeutic and other regulated claims are not inferred from ingredient percentages. They require the appropriate testing, substantiation and market pathway.

How our technical content is maintained

Our technical pages are written to separate observed manufacturing practice, retained company documentation, supplier information, external testing, regulatory requirements and general educational material. We revise pages when the underlying process, evidence or guidance changes materially.

  • Canonical pages are used as the primary citation targets.
  • Material changes are reflected in sitemap freshness signals.
  • Technical claims should stay within the evidence available for the specific material, batch or product.
  • Corrections can be sent to info@grassfedessentials.com.
