WHAT GOES IN IT
What it is made from
Refined tallow in a light water-based cream with humectants and a broad-spectrum preservative system.
Anything with water needs a preservative and a challenge test (USP <51> or ISO 11930). Vitamin E is an antioxidant, not a preservative.
Airless pumps protect creams from air and fingers, which helps both stability and the preservative.

Does a tallow face cream need a preservative?
Yes. Any product with water can grow bacteria and mould. We design the preservative system and you confirm it with a challenge test.
What does a custom tallow cream cost to develop?
The emulsion formula is USD 1,500, including the preservative system and bench stability checks. Production starts at 500 units.
Do you make tallow face cream for US brands?
Yes. Grass-Fed Essentials makes tallow face cream for skincare brands that sell in the United States, with US labelling and a batch certificate of analysis. Our manufacturing is outside the US; US commercial support runs through Grass-Fed Essentials LLC.
Who owns a custom tallow face cream formula?
A formula you buy from us belongs to you once it is paid in full. Drafts made in our free tools contain our intellectual property and are not final formulas.
