Cream, lotion, cleansing balm that rinses, bar or liquid soap: anything with water in it.
Tinted balm, lip colour, cream blush, concealer, foundation stick. Each shade is its own formula.
Actives-led or performance products: serums (hyaluronic, peptide, vitamin C), deodorant, scalp and hair treatments, anything that needs a delivery system.
Sun care and anything with a drug claim in the US is out of scope.

You test it. We adjust. Two rounds on Essentials, three on Pro and Launch.
Timelines are typical, not promises; the brief call confirms yours. Raw material lead times and courier transit are outside them.
UPGRADE PACKS AND ADD-ONS
Second sample, third revision round, accelerated stability screen (heat, cold, cycle) with a written result, peroxide value certificate on the tallow lot, US label and claims review.
Everything in the Pro pack, plus preservative challenge test (external lab) where water is present, FDA MoCRA product listing, packaging compatibility check, production-ready batch record and spec sheet, priority slot for your first production run.

QUESTIONS
Yes. Once the service is paid in full, the formula sheet is yours. You can manufacture with us or with anyone else. We ask only that you do not resell the formula itself as a product.
Formulation and manufacturing are done by Grass Fed Essentials (Pty) Ltd in South Africa in an FDA-registered facility. Billing and US support are through Grass Fed Essentials LLC in Wyoming. Samples ship to you by courier.
Yes. Choose "request an invoice" at checkout. Work starts when the invoice is paid.
Anything whose value comes from an active or a performance claim rather than from texture: serums built on hyaluronic acid, peptides or vitamin C, deodorants, scalp and hair treatments, products that need a delivery system or a pH window to work. If you are not sure, start the checkout for a Standard formula; the brief call will reclassify it, and you only pay the difference.
Some briefs ask for a combination that does not work (a water-free balm that absorbs like a lotion, for example). We say so in the brief call, before bench work, and either adjust the brief with you or refund the unused part of the service.
No. It covers development. The formula sheet is costed so you can see what a production run would look like; manufacturing is quoted separately once the formula is final.
