What it is made from
Built on refined tallow with natural waxes and plant oils for a smooth glide. Unscented or flavoured with lip-safe flavours.
Lip balm is a cosmetic in the US. Add SPF and it becomes an over-the-counter drug with its own testing and rules.
The common failure is bloom: a white haze after a warm day. Our Stress Test checks for it before you launch.

Yes, with lip-safe flavour oils at a level that passes our stability checks. Sweeteners and flavours are listed in the ingredient declaration.
Do you make tallow lip balm for US brands?
Yes. Grass-Fed Essentials makes tallow lip balm for skincare brands that sell in the United States, with US labelling and a batch certificate of analysis. Our manufacturing is outside the US; US commercial support runs through Grass-Fed Essentials LLC.
Who owns a custom tallow lip balm formula?
A formula you buy from us belongs to you once it is paid in full. Drafts made in our free tools contain our intellectual property and are not final formulas.
