Stores and Target PlusTarget
Tallow is already in Target’s natural beauty aisles: Fatco launched four products in nearly 450 Target stores, with an opening order of 6,000 units. Online, Target Plus is Target’s invitation-only marketplace.
They look for: Buyers expect barcoded, retail-ready packs, steady supply at that volume, and the paperwork behind every claim.
How we help: We make the product at retail volume, print the barcode on a compliant label, and hand you the batch COA and test results a buyer asks for.

Grocery body careWhole Foods Market
Whole Foods bans more than 240 ingredients in body care, including parabens, formaldehyde releasers, phthalates, PFAS and some animal-derived ingredients (emu oil, equine oil, whale oil, placental protein). Tallow is not on the published list. Front-label organic claims need third-party certification.
They look for: Your full ingredient list is checked against the banned list before anything else.
How we help: Every GFE formula can be built to the Whole Foods list from day one, preservative and fragrance included, and we avoid organic claims unless your certification supports them.

UB MarketplaceUlta Beauty
Ulta opened UB Marketplace in October 2025: brands only (no resellers), by invitation or application, for brands Ulta does not already carry, with more than 100 brands at launch.
They look for: A brand that looks and documents like an Ulta brand: finished packaging, clear claims, and listings that match the label.
How we help: Label Studio and our packaging catalogue get the look right; the label and claims review keeps the copy within cosmetic rules.

Beauty and topicalsAmazon
Amazon asks beauty sellers in many subcategories for evidence of compliance: commonly the FDA facility registration (FEI number), a certificate of analysis and the FDA product listing under MoCRA. The most common failure is documents that do not match the live listing.
They look for: Documents that match the listing exactly, renewed on time.
How we help: You get our FDA facility registration (FEI) and a COA for every batch, and our compliance service files the MoCRA product listing under your brand.

Walmart MarketplaceWalmart
Tallow balms are already sold through Walmart Marketplace by approved sellers. Marketplace sellers apply for an account, list with GTIN barcodes and keep product compliance information current.
They look for: A registered barcode, consistent product data and fast, dependable fulfilment.
How we help: Production with consistent lots, barcoded labels and US freight quoted before you pay.

Natural and specialty groceryWegmans, Sprouts and regional grocers
Regional grocers bring in emerging natural brands; tallow skincare has reached Wegmans shelves. Category reviews, local-brand programmes and distributors are the usual way in.
They look for: A sell sheet with wholesale and retail prices, case packs, and evidence the product survives a store shelf.
How we help: The Ultimate Tallow Brand Test gives you shelf and shipping evidence and a retailer evidence binder.

Boutiques, spas and farm storesFaire and independent stores
Wholesale platforms such as Faire connect brands with independent retailers that usually buy at about half the retail price in small opening orders.
They look for: A wholesale price that leaves you a margin at roughly 50% of retail.
How we help: Our pricing tools and white-label range show your cost per unit before you commit, so the wholesale maths works.
