Same suet, three levels of finish. The price per kilogram falls with volume.

Every grade comes from 100% grass-fed, grass-finished South African beef suet and is rendered in our FDA-registered facility. Choose by what your product and your customers will ask for.

Rendered, undeodorised

Soap makers and formulators who deodorise or fragrance heavily. Natural beef note.

Food-grade pails (10 kg or 20 kg) or drums, sealed and labelled with lot and net weight. Prices exclude shipping, duties and taxes. Card payments carry the 2.9% processing line; bank transfer does not.

Certificate of analysisMoisture, free fatty acid, peroxide value and, on cosmetic grade, the fatty-acid reference profile, against stated limits.

Origin and traceabilityCountry of origin, species, BSE/TSE and allergen declarations, lot linkage to the supplying abattoir (cosmetic grade).

We do not send samples. The minimum order is the sample: if the first 100 kg does not meet the certificate, the refund policy applies.

QUESTIONS

Before you order

Why no samples?

A 100 g sample tells you about that jar, not about a production lot. We would rather ship 100 kg with a certificate that describes exactly that lot, and stand behind it with the refund policy.

Is it the same tallow you use in your own products?

Yes. The cosmetic grade is the material our own balms are made from; the other two grades are earlier points in the same process.

How is it packed and how long does it keep?

Sealed food-grade pails or drums, labelled with lot and net weight. Stored cool and sealed, the tallow is specified for 12 months; the TDS states the conditions.

Can you deliver duties paid?

Our express and airfreight options are DAP: delivered to your door with clearance handled, duties and import taxes billed to you by the carrier. Duty-paid service is possible on request but expensive.
